Well I'm glad someone got some! It didn't really get to us (just a few mls) although even just a little helps for a little while.
It started raining just before I went to bed last night - and it still is! I got wet going to the gauge, where there was 39mm at 0600. This should even top up some of my dams a little, although the soil temperature may not allow much feed to grow. My neighbours who sowed dry will be feeling pretty happy, but there will still be no subsoil moisture, so a successful crop will depend on continued rain at the right time throughout the growing season.

Good to hear John.
Started here about 3:00AM and has been nice and consistent since. Talking to Mum last night she received 28mm just outside the Alice. They were very happy.
I just hope there's follow-up in the next few weeks and we get some large/heavy falls. The rivers and aquifers around here are dire.
Yep here too, as far as i know it's raining all along the coast and west to Oberon and Goulburn too
