Roo Bar Freebie
I have taken off the bar on the front of my disco (as seen in the pic) I took it off because it was slightly bent touching the body work and I believe a weld or two may be cracked.
If anyone wants it and can pick it up from me in Scarborough WA, they are welcome to it.
I am looking for a smaller A bar type of thing to replace it.
Cheers

I can't quite make out what sort of bar you have fitted but if it's a genuine LR nudge bar, then you can modify that to become an A frame bar.
Usually, a fair bit of dirt road driving makes the ends fall off the A frame section but you could cut them off yourself & voila, an A frame bar.
You'll need to tidy up the mounts for the side sections but that's about it

JB,
I would love to have your roo bar.
I am just up the highway from you in Padbury.
Send me your contact details and I will gladly take it off your hands.
Thanks.

JB - I've probably got the "A" bar you're looking for hanging on my shed wall in Kalgoorlie. It's still attached to the original D2 plastic bumper. It's a fairly solid one in polished alloy and looked good on the Disco when I bought it.
The reason that I took it off is that I'm running Hella Predator spotlights, and on the "A" bar or nudge bar as I call it, I couldn't stop the vibration and the light beams flickering up & down in the distance drove me stupid. So I got an alloy ECB Bullbar through Discovery Auto Centre in Wangarra and fitted that. Looks good and has solved the problem with the lights shuddering.
Let me know if you're interested and I'll send a photo of it - unfortunately haven't got any photos of the Disco with it fitted.
