Geelong 4wd club

Hi Lucas,

My partner and I have been talking about rounding up the land rover owners in geelong, be a great chance to meet all the people we wave to during the week :)

We thought it would be good if we could get a group of us together. Something where we can share knowledge (like servicing days), camping trips etc and obviously do some 4 wheel driving!

Perhaps we should organise a BBQ somewhere in Geelong where we could all meet up for a few drinks and intro's.

What do all you think?

i would be keen on that too. Eventhough we Live out west at Hamilton (western Dist), but we have family at Leopold (my brother & sister)....Kill two birds.........:angel:;)

Without taking over the thread ;) It would be great if anyone that can make it this way could come. I didn't mean for it to just be Geelong people (sorry if I offended anyone). I know a few people from Melb that want to go down the Otway's etc and the more the better.

Take events such as the High Country hut trips (just as an example), we would love to join in (and hopefully may still get a chance) but it is just a bit far for us to travel.

We are always down the coast towards the Otways either having a BBQ or camping and it is easier for us to head that way rather than up to the high country.

WOW, looks like lots of interest in a get together around Geelong and district. Maybe we should start a new thread so this one doesn't get side tracked off subject. What about "Geelong Gathering" in Upcoming Events?

I would agree with the forum meet ups, get along to those, i think i went on about 2 or so club trips when i was in the central west 4wd club and the LROC sydney but the rest of them have been forum runs and alot more fun in my opinion, if its only the trips you are interested in just keep an eye on the forum trips forum. Failing that start your own trip and hope someone who knows the area decides to come. :D
