No not saying that at all but would you want to take it offroad and get it scratched and dinged? Thats what makes the Classics so fun, you're not worrying too much about that steep climb over some tilted rocks that will surely re-arrange a large amount of your bodywork. I would rather spend $185,000 on building up a classic or two or three.....

I am sure when it arrives it will be one of the most capable 4wd's off road and a rocket ship on the black top as well.

However will I buy one for remote travel if I had the money, I think not. This really proves beyond a doubt that Land Rover are moving away from their grass roots.

Can't say I blame Land Rover they realize that's where the money is to be made.

Why wouldn’t you take it off road, I do and yes I have the scratches to show but why buy a very capable off roader like the new RR and not take it off road.

It costs no more to repair a ding in a new RR as it would to repair the same sort of ding in a family sedan, I know first hand.

They are unreal off road and anyone that has a new RR and doesn’t take it off road ( and that would be most of them ) don’t know what they are miss out on.
