Yeah it's close but the african ones have a better fitting middle door. I wouldn't want to be driving one around town, the bloody things must turn like an oil tanker!

THe african one you see was one of the few 147's done by Land Rover Special vehicles (See my article on them in the AURLO Newsletter in the files section opf this site) The tassie one is a local conversion.

I have no need for one at all, but I reckon that's as fine a people mover as Ive ever seen. If my luck changes on the romantic front it's nice to know I can raise a big tribe. Those of you who want more kids but didn't think you could because they wouldn't fit in the Defender can now upsize your family. Remember Peter Costello's baby payment will go some way to paying for it.

What are you guys doing on-line? Off you go....

With the seats in the back, and the accessory middle front seat ex UK, that gives ... 13 seats. D*mn, not enough for "Cheaper by the Dozen."

No, I've got it figured. Drop the rearmost side door and fit the full 8 "troopy" style seats, then 6 forward - 14 seats! Enough for the 12 kids and 2 parents!
