Series III 109 with Holden engine living in UK !

The thread on the Landrover Addict forum is here http://www.landroveraddict.com/smf/i...topic=362112.0

It was going to be scrapped until the current owner found a bunch of receipts, etc. and is interested in it's history as it has WA rego and looks like it's been driven overland to the UK.

Tell him to contact the WA department of transport and infrastructure with the info that he has and the wish to contact the owner around 2000 and reasons why. They may help, but being a government department do not count on it.
The good thing about the 186 is they are easy to fix and will run forever as long as you top up the oil and water.
The reverse trip would be good to bring it home and maybe donate to the Fremantle car museum.
