    what model did...

    hi,

just wondering what Model Range Rover Classics got the nice 'soft' looking dash that has the double airbags?

    Also,

Did the 95+ model have a diesel here in Australia?

    thanks

It was the 1995 model (MA). There's not too many around as it was just a "fill in" model until the P38a came on line.

The only pre-LM Range Rover with a diesel in Australia was in 89-90 with the VM 2.4 litre. There was a 2.5 version that was used for Australian evaluaution which was a big improvement over the 2.4 but I don't know where it ended up.

Don't know if it happened in Australia. I read landrover were selling/producing soft dash classic range rovers and P38s simultaneously.

I test drove a VM 2.4 in a rangy. It was not bad value for money (under $6k). But it was pretty sluggish empty. I'd hate to take it up a steep hill full of gear.
