having driven 110's for so long and as the 130's feel the same up the front things that Id doge around leaving the mearest of hiars between rear sidewalls and tyre stake wind up leaving me with flats
or panel damage.
or smacks on the heads from the passangers who just bumped their noggins...

130's a great for towing. They will go anywhere the rest of the Landy family will go. On tight tracks you may have to do a 3 point turn or rub the trees a little. You get used to it very quick.
i've never had a problem chasing or following any other landy
somethigs get a little tight but you do get used to driving different lines and angles ;)
Obviously you havnt towed a 3 tonne caravan with both to see the difference, the 130 is so much more stable than a 110, both will pull it no probs but when you get a semi go past or a side wind in the 110 you feel like its going to take you off the road where the 130 hardly moves.Quote:

not a 3 ton trailer but Ive used both to tow 4 ton trailers...
with the extra weight I have in big red shes got no dramas getting trailers under control...
you try backing an articulated trailer or one with a short ass draw bar to get max trailer bed length with a 130....
when you have to start pulling jack knife manouvers to get the trailer round with a 110 you aint got a hope with a 130, however out in the open the 130 aint bad with any trailer on.

One issue I have seen with a 130 is they are more vunerable to tyre stakes then vehicles with a shorter wheelbase.
We were following some old woodlines tracks out towards Kalgoorlie and of the 6 vehicles in the group there was a number of staked tyres, the vehicle with the most was the 130, even though he was running the same tyres (BFG A/T's) as a couple of the other vehicles. The interesting bit was the number of front tyres he staked. We put it down to taking a slightly wider line then others before turning into the corners
Ahh - if he'd said turning circle I'd have got it in one. :)
