I used to do a little in WA when I was younger, never got to the north after Buff etc, but foxes and roo with a .22 K-mag and I had friends in the wheatbelt with an array of rifles etc, Ruger M77 .308, Bentley 8 shot 12G pump, Winchester lever .22mag, .220 swift, 45-70, 20G SB, 16G, 410DB, Ruger 10-22 Semi auto, -I think that was all...It was a while ago.

    Hi,

I'm not really a shooter but i did go to Lithuania to an old soviet bunker and shoot a few guns. you can shoot whatever you want there for the right price...

    AK-47
    Uzi
    baretta
    magnum
    pump action shot gun

No body spoke english, the instructions were: handing us the guns and pointing where to shoot...

    G'day Adrian,
Roo, Rabbits, Deer, Pigs, Goats, Fox and Ducks.
Tikka T3 stainless/composite Varmint, heavy barrelled 308, is my weapon of choice for the larger stuff. In the process of finding a favorite shotgun.

I am. I own a .22 and used to love .308 for some fun. I do like .22mag for bunnies etc, but would like a .223 for non-target stuff. Mostly target shooting though as we have a range, but whenever I'm at friends and relo's properties we head out for some vermin control.
    Cheers

Yeah, I've often wondered how many there were of us on here.

Only shot at the club since being out here, but back in the UK I shot pheasant, partridge, rabbits, hares, foxes, crows, pigeon, etc. Basically, anything that was either vermin, tasted nice, or both.

Out here, I'm itching to get into the pigs & roos!

    I have .22LR, .17HMR, .223 (Soon to be .20Tact), .243 (Soon to be 6x47) and a 7mm-08. Adding a .303, .300WSM and a couple of pistols soon too.

Maybe we should do a combined 4x4/shooting trip if there are enough of us in a localish area?

In Victoria, you now need a permit to shoot roos
