Wa is at least 400-500 litres, you are allowed no more than 2 x 44 gallon drums at any one time for a particular product (most of these are 220litre each). Above this you must have a DG permit and bunding to contain any spills that meets AS. You must also have appropriate fire and chemical response equipment. Private residences or small businesses if they do not have the resources must get FESA to conduct an inspection and risk assessment for large quantities. Some of the classified goods such as methanol, etc are limited to about 200litres without a permit, some even less, eg hydrochloric acid 20 litre.
