I've seen the polyairs go for 150-180 on ebay in aust they were new as well
but private sale from time to time. I had some put on my 86 Rangie but it cost me 490 including fitting from ARB i had quotes up to $550. I think they are great to.

Can anyone recommend a good (read competitively priced) supplier for airbags (Polyair or Firestone or other) in Melbourne?
I know that REPCO have a 20% discount if you join their online catalogue, and that they sell POLYAIRS only. ($285 after discount, but with freight added - not a stock item).
I called the airbag man in Qld and they only do Firestones, which now have some improved features & fittings. Freight from QLD is the same as freight across Melbourne. ($365 inc freight)
I know some have imported from the USA, I'd seen some ebay links in the past, but can't find any now. I'd be keen for any links to cheap O/S suppliers.
I'm after a set of airbags to suit a 1988 Range Rover - standard height. So if anyone's done a suspension mod on their RR and now has a superfulous set of airbags they'd like to sell, I'm open to such suggestions too.
Thanks in advance, Michael2

I'm about to get some from Trucksprings in Michigan. I think they're Firestone bags.
www.trucksprings.com
I think they are about US$95 + US$40ish postage.
Although hopefully my MIL will be bringing mine back in her suitcase.
Brian Hjelm posted a US truck suspension link (SoCal ?) a while back on the techo forum. Pretty sure he bought them for his County there.
I bought some online from http://www.truckspring.com worked out much cheaper and they only took about 4 or 5 days to be delivered from memory.
The only problem is their online purchase page only has the airbags for standard height suspension. For lifted suspension, you need additional packers, which can be bought from polyair separately.
Firestone and polyair airbags, for standard height and 2" lifted rangerover or discovery, are all the same height. The difference is made up with moulded rubber blocks.
How much were the rubber blocks?
Could you make your own? (that is my plan).
I don't suppose you remember how much the box weighed and its dimensions? (from Truckspring)
Tusker posted this link a few days ago.
