TDI depending on which marketing manual you read means one of the following
Turbo Direct Injected
Turbo Diesel Intercooled
Toyota Debogging Impliment
IMHO as all diesels are injected and these days 99.9% of them use direct injection as its easier to make the head (read cheaper) TDI stands for the second of the 3 options the 3rd one is only really aplicable to Landrovers.

Thanks for all the replys guys good info

In the Uk thay always said that (including the Land Rover factory) TDI was Turbo Diesel Injection
-
Written on the top of the engine "Turbocharged Direct Injection"
-
I stand corrected.
though Turbo Diesel Intercooled, better sums up the engine IMHO

I'm 6'2" and the drivers seat is raised 22mm (7/8") which works fine for me.
BTW, 130's are actually 127" wheelbase. ;)

I'm 198cm (6'6'') tall and I fit in my 110 with no problems. Would prefer more room, but have driven over 1000km's in a day (seats are not modified).
Cheers Iggy

I'm 6'2" and no twiggy and I'm quite happy in my defender without seat mods. You just have to learn to sit up in a correct position and you'll be fine. Given the small windscreen you'll probably never need the sun visor but that's a good thing.
Blacknight hits the spot again.... Toyota debogging Implement !!!
Steve.
