It's not easy to find a wrecked defender/county. You pretty much just have to ring around a few wreckers. Sometimes one mob will know of another wrecker that has one.

Outside of brisbane is British Off Road which always have something or landranger spares (?) in gympie and andersons in hervey bay. bor can be pricy, although I have paid what I thought was a reasonable price for some stuff.

Dave are the wrecks going to pickles brisbane?

I wish, the buggers never want to drive the ones we can justify disposing of so its all repair at parent units expense... Even Our deeper level support is snowed under with the jobs....

and they're on ex ATM so theres more coming.

It seems that most of our stuff is backloaded through the sydney site or out of the loggies in albury to wherever the hell else its got to go....

Me thinks there is something scaring the parts suppliers ATM as stuff that once upon a time was XX dispose is now XX send it back for refurb... Glad I work on aircraft rules where I can justify anything by "It could fall off while its airborne, that would be bad." and it helps that the sarge has a great attitude... We dont do warrenty work here, You take your time and you get it right first time around. Anyone puts unwanted pressure on you for a repair you tell em to come see me.
