Not sure Pete, i think it may come in via that little welsh plug, or even the inspection plate on the diff lock housing.

sooo-- if theres water getting in,,
is it lack of use thats letting the corrosion form?
(hard to believe after watching all the vids:D)

can we seal the welsh plug and plate with silastic?

Wouldn't hurt, although i wouldn't use silastic on the inspection plate.

Yeah that lack of use statement the mechanic gave me didn't sit well, i use to use it alot offroad:eek:
