    Leaving Perth for the Gold Coast

    After much discussion and negotiation I am transferring from Perth, which has been my home for the last 3 years, and relocating to the Gold Coast.
    Sadly, despite my best efforts I couldn't get the boss to include a nice new TDV6 D3 as part of the new package, but I gave it my all.
    So much of WA that I did not get to see, but I am hoping there are just as many exciting new places to explore in and around the Gold Coast.
    You GCLRO members keep an eye out for me. I will have to get you to point me in the right direction when I get there.

    AJF: When you leave Perth, go north, then you'll see a lot of Aussie you haven't seen. (I assume you're driving to GC)....

    GCLRO will, no doubt, be very helpful. Must get to one of their Thursday night p1ssups, err, meetings....

    I'm sure I can say that safely at 6pm on a Friday night, 'cause I know where they will be....!!!

    I have just rocked up to the goldcoast on tuesday so once I know what shift I am on will have to find my way to the 'meeting' and want to try out any good tracks in the area
    disco seriesII mods so far:-bullbar,hyd winch,
    detriot locker,lsd front,C.D.L kit,chipped and bigger intercooler,2" lift,rock sliders, lsd in transfer case, modified auto trans.

    Sadly I am not being given the time to drive my way over. The old girl will be transported over upon my departure.
    As for an ETA this remains up in the air. The suggested timeframe is 4 weeks and then I will have to wait till the vehicle arrives before I can meet up with everyone and you can show me around.
    I'll let you know when I'm onboard and I look forward to meeting more of my LR Bretheren.
