Tornado??
local?... no news over here:mad:
What we call a mini tornado, tore down a lot of fences, lifted a number of roofs and the rain that accompanied it caused some exposed ceilings to fall
I'd leave them on, they are good protection for the sills.............
I'll be there!! However, maybe if the weather is too extreme we should plan an alternative further north eg powerlines or some such?
Cheers,
Gordon
i'll be there.
with regard to planning an alternative should the weather cancel things how about dwellingup as theres a powerlines trip on the sunday with the lrocwa which i'll also be attending if i don't write it off on the sat
Aaargh, I hate that term. No such thing as a mini tornado! It's either a tornado or it isn't. That term is something the media latched on to and won't let go. :p
Friday's front is looking like possibly the strongest one so far this winter, Saturday will be clearing but still some showers around.
The powerlines are pretty treacherous at the moment as well.

What are they like as a club? Not much info on their website as to what they get up to.
jeff this'll be the first proper trip we've done with them - been on a recy with them previously - and the ones that came out were great.
we did however go to a meeting and that was a different story. 1 guy came up to us and said that we wouldn't like it as we were to young (i'm touching 30) :o and another told us that there trips were mainly on gravelled road and were more of a sightseeing/sunday drive than an offroad trip :(
we didn't let this put us off and went along on the reccy and neither of the two that tried to put us off was there :) and we had a great day out.
any way what i'm trying to say is, from what i've seen so far there are both good and not so good ( depending on what your into) ...same as everywhere else i guess.
