Mine had standard wheels & tyres when I got it and it would out turn everything else with two or more diffs and it never suffered, mind you I don't ever go hard with much steering! When I put the Disco rims & BFG Muddies on I had to screw the locks out a bit but it's still OK.

I would have thought that the steering stops were there for a reason.
I would not like to have an accident researched and they find the steering stops had been altered and contributed to the accident.
I had one of my vehicles audited years ago after I fell asleep and wrote it off. They can really ask awkward questions.
Adjuster beware!
They are there for a reason. They stop the front tyres from scrubbing on the suspension arms when on full lock. They are adjustable to suit different tyre sizes that are fitted to different model Land Rovers utilizing the same front end components.Quote:
