Well, on the bright side, there's no one better equipped to fix it.

What a day had an absolute ball today the weather was perfect
(I still havnt got a frikn camera) but never the less we all met at the tavern this morning at 9.00am and headed off down Leather Grn to the start of the track .
Once everyone had aired down we headed off up the first hill and carried on to Jasons Puddle were we watched Dirty Dawg make the crossing with great success.
Richard was next with a big splash at the start and waited for the weight of the water to bring him onto the muddy bottom and with all but a car length in it the Disco decided to wallow for a short while before being recovered and after a short bit of tinkering and a lot of water let back out onto the track we were on our way.
Everyone had success at traversing all terrain ahead and we decided to stop for a bit of lunch and a rest
After lunch we headed through more of the track and came across the West Aus 4WD Club whom we let go first as they were already at rest waiting for others coming the other way after letting them get a fair way ahead we kept a steady pace up until catching up behind them again (Bloody Pootrols)
Once all was clear we heade on up towards the last challenge a hill with some nice ruts and washouts after the last of us climbed the hill we carried on through to the last playground and aired up
After every one was back to road pressures we said our thankyous and goodbyes and took the Great Eastern back towards the dreaded concrete jungle

(where I got pulled over by the Police and asked to pull to the side of the road to have a chat about my bash bar or more to the point my number plate that is hidden behind it after a bit of quick thinking and a few lies we where on our way

Thanks to every one who turned up and made the day such a great time had by all

    Cheers Ken and Kirstie

Yep....it was a great family day out!! Thanks guys and girls.

Andy, you showed what a stock Disco on road tyres is capable of!

I've forgotten the name of the guy in the Pajero, but he drove the wheels off that thing to keep up with all the Landy's. Well done to him!

And it's great to see another V8 County in the ranks too Steve.

    Looking forward to next time!

I hope your there this morning Good Looking it will be good to catch up with you at last.....I hate sh it stirring people I havent met face to face... So this morning I will get my open license...your posts always make me laugh....and your good sense of humor helps.. Im tempted to Join your club just to stir it up a little...

    Hello Nigel
Club Captain is another word for Vice President If you would like to buy me a pink Cardigan I may wear it inside my house and only there.

Good looking well what can one say about ones self....I am ugly? Nah not me I am always looking in the mirror. Alan and Jason know how I look.......but you have never seen me so the mystery will always be there until we meet, and even then I may be in disguise......****e stirring is all good as I have very big shoulders and a good sense of humor...ask Alan and Landy Andy and Iggy.
Now the bit about club stirring has me worried as we have this already so are you going to ADD to it or are you behind it ?

I have just watched the videos and I think it funny that Jason who was stuck there a few weeks ago was the one pulling out Rich's Disco dah je vue for Jason I can imagine his smile...onya Jason. I could not control my laughter when all the bits started floating away when the doors were opened...sorry Rich and the commentary was priceless.(Rich Did u not see the video of Jason I posted a few weeks ago)
I am sorry I missed it all but the club is doing that trip later this month, will I be going in the puddle...nope I will be wearing my pink cardigan that u gave me .......and watching from inside my Rangie taking pictures....lol
    have fun

It was a Good day, all it cost me was a $300 Amp which mounted on the step under the back seat got imersed in water and fried itself.. seen as the bottom of my doors are 650mm off the ground athe step is 20cm in height I had 850mm of water in the car,,but I did get through though... UKLRO Andy any chance of your wife sending me the pics she took of my aquatic adventure nigel_the_brickie@hotmail.com.. cheers

Everyone was great and patient waiting for the endless line of trolls to diminish nice and it was nice to meet you all..
Got home parked up on a plank on a couple of bricks and hosed out the mud, emptied the headlights Checked the oil and air cleaner and all good not a drop of H2O... I had wading plugs in the timing case cover but not the bell housing but the leaky main would probable kept the water out..
Well looking forward to a dry day on the 5th...

i thought this was the only thing giving you forward momentum rich.
i was gonna suggest putting one on the back door and use it like an outboard motor to get you across
