Damn, I am being ripped off. I had a great deal of difficulty insuring my series 3, mainly because of the engine conversion it has had. The only place I could get insured was Just Car Insurance. Just for Third party, Fire and Theft it costs me about $540per year, they quoted about $1050 per year for comp. insurance, what a rip job. I think i might shop around for another company now!

Hokay, DGA quoted me $905.00, full comp with one free windscreen per year (no cost at all, as long as I go with O'Briens glass) 2 nominated over-25 drivers (23b policy) anywhere in Oz at all, including beach driving and river crossings. I did make an at-fault claim last year, but they allowed me keep rating 1 protected for 1 claim.

TCIS (underwritten by Vigil) exactly the same BUT I have only rating 3 cos of the previous claim. BUT the premium is $852.00 with a $500.00 excess. Plus they'll cover $500.00 for personal effects pinched from the truck, which covers my recovery and first-aid kits.

Decision time, but I'm a little worried about what Tombraider had to say about TCIS....

Allianz, and not happy. started in Vic moved to darwin rang and told them mail sent to old Vic address with "notification of changed address and rego", moved to Wagga Wagga rang and told them mail still sent to old Vic address with "notification of changed address and rego". Even more dramas when it came time to take off our magna and add the MPV we are still waiting for the refund. Once we've got it were moving on.
