I'm no bodys computer wiz but I found my way around quite easily. I can't understand what their problem is!
Steve.
How is it that the ARR&DP is easier to use than AULRO or other modern forums?
I read some of it when first looking at LRs but it was so painful to use. There is a reason why people update from those things.
I just went back and read Ron's post and nothing has changed.
If I can find my way around here with my limited ability with things computer orientated, anyone should be able to.
Im a nuts and bolts sort of person, like a lot of people on here so if they find it so hard to navagate around here then maybe we dont want them here anyway.
Inc you dont need to change anything except the speed of my dial up connection, but I think that is up to me to stop being a tight a$$ and pay for ADSL.
G`day All
Anyone interested will find a link to the site in my signature .

I agree, this forum is ridiculously hard to use. I actually have to use my hands on the mouse, surely by 2007 the term "human interface device" should have been superseded by a "psychological interface device".![]()
I wish it was harder to use - so I'd spend less time here.![]()
Thats like a blast from the past, I was using a commodore 64 the last time I saw a message board like that.
Im sure there is information there but AULRO has more info in the latest tech threads for the last few days than they seem to have available.
I saw they had a search function but Im not even bothering, the same stuff was posted on there as here but it doesnt just flow as you seem to have to open each individual post and you cant just scroll through.
Each to their own I suppose but I would find it immensly frustrating trying to get an answer to a question that way.
Granted though I only had a quick look but I cant be bothered going back, I dont see the need.
