    Thanks for that - the 4BB1 is the old 3.6. The 4BC1/2 is a 3.3

    mojo - the 4BE1 is a good engine, and developed after the 4BD1. I have heard a few people say it isn't as torquey low down as the 4BD1, but take it for a test drive and see for yourself.

    she will probably be a great little truck to drive with one of them, not too loud, and plenty of get up and go. The 4bb1 i have in mine is a lumpy old thing, but has never missed a beat! very simple and easy to work on engine!
