I think you should know your place, and wait your turn to use road that us 110 drivers might, or might not, want to use as the whim takes us

Of course it could be that his pitman arm is very loose and he was actually trying to turn the OTHER way but THAT indicator wasn't working either.

could have chased him down, laying on the horn & flashing the lights to get his attention, weaving thru traffick & running lights, deviating many miles from your originally intended destination

to inform him his indicators were faulty

Irrelevant of vehicle type some people just do not know how to drive. Even without an indicator he should still not have cut you off.
Had similar on Tuesday morning, pulling out of ER centre in light fire tender, emergency lights on and a bus pulls out from a t section in front of us and limits us to 20kph for nearly a kilometre before we can get by. He definately saw us, saw the lights and even with out the emrgency we had right of way and made no attempt to let us past.
Hope next time it something of his on fire and we get delayed.

This is my absolute biggest hatred, drivers who dont indicate, usually bmw or merc drivers are the worst, how do they expect you to know where they are going if they dont bloody indicate !

As a fellow Fender driver I can sympathise with this bloke. He was probably trying to push the fan and heater levers down with frozen fingers, while shoving folded newspapers in the drafts in the doors as well as defrosting the windscreen with the back of his thermal gloves while in the process of lighting a match to see if the dashboard lights were on.

All this while talking and texting on his mobile phone, putting the coordinates into his GPS and changing the cd and mp3.

    Gotta love driving a Defender.

Of course the indicator didn't work - and if he pulled in front of you then he probably couldn't see you wave either in his tiny mirror through the rear window with a tyre blocking most of the view.

Defender drivers are not rude, as a rule, just electrically and rearward-visually challenged.
