with regards to the bulge, looking from the drivers seat (because that's where i was sitting, today, while driving it, by myself) you can hardly notice it. being such a short bonnet, and the driving position being so high, with the angle of view over the bonnet, it tends to follow a natural curve away from the driver's (that was me) eyes.:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p

Yours looks better maybe because yours has all the fruit on it and the new one well just looks plain.

actually, looking at the photo, i know what you mean. too much silver and the clear parker and blinker lens combo doesn't help.
for those Dr Who fans, it looks a bit like when the cybermen meet the transformers.
