For ancillaries like header tanks, serpentine belts etc. no probs. Not 100% sure about the quality of some of the components that they have for major parts though. Don't think they are genuine.
G'day all,
"4 Wheel drives", AKA "www.landrovers.com.au"... Would you recommend them?
I'm looking at getting a reconditioned or second had gearbox from this mob and am wondering if people have anything to say about it?
They are a lot cheaper than places in SA even with delivery from Victoria.
Cheers,
Chosen.

Some of their parts are of Indian or Chinese origin so beware, it it comes in a LR parts bag you should be safe.

$20 for one of their catalogues delivered is a bit rich - they put extracs on their website but not the whole thing - they should just make it available online like everyone else.

I have ordered a few series bits, hard brake lines and other bits and pieces.
Found the gear good, price excellent, and delivery quick.
They refund the price of the catalogue ($13) with purchases.
I got a freebie though, the disc got damaged and they sent me the new one for free, can't argue with that.
I have used them often and find thm very good to deal with and very well priced. A lot of their gear is LR genuine. Just make sure you get a warranty with a reco gearbox.
Their catalogue is worth the money. If you are buying a bit of gear off them get them to throw one in. Great for reference although part numbers are their own not LR.
You can get the catalogue in hard copy or on cd. If you see the hard copy you will realise why it costs. It is massive and is worth it just for reference.
I use them, Karcraft and also find British 4wd good.
I have had no problem with parts from any of them.

But who bears the cost of freight in both directions if there is a problem? What is the one way cost of freight that you have?
This risk has to be considered imho, as it may prove not to be an inexpensive exercise after all. 3 months does not seem long. It could be a month or so before it gets fitted.
With it repaired in SA, at least you can go to the repair bod & have him/her look at it for any diagnosis.
On all their other stuff, the buyer has to stand the return cost. Even when a part is crook straight out of the box they still wanted me to pay for it's return. Gladly, I got that sorted.![]()
