    Ive got about three weeks till kick off then I'll buy suspension make or buy bar winch and if the hand break permits even lockers

    Tank mentions spares. Be aware that many consumables are needed, mostly tips and nozzles (for the plasma) collets and nozzles for the tig. You also need a range (diameter and type) of tungstens for the tig, but you should not have a problem finding these.

    Tig can produce the best welds, but is slow. A good tig power supply makes a good stick welder.

    It is common for a tig welder to also be used for stick welding. For a lot of carbon steel pipe welding, it is common to use tig for the root run and stick to finish the weld (quicker than using tig only).

    You probably should get a nice mig welder, not a toy one. And cheaper than the equivalent quality tig welder.
