Sitting in the backyard for years with the head off = not worth a brass razoo to a buyer. Too many available in running condition for a few hundred dollars.

Not inclined to fix it, no skill, anger management, etc = don't bother stripping it for parts then.

Give it to a good home = feel good when you see it lovingly restored.
