Nah, you're not going blind. What have you been up to that you wondered?

well i looked outside and i counted the doors on the defenders i could see two had 5 doors and one had 3 and i must have got excited

The solution i had at home was to use bus mirrors...worked very well!

Not any more, the law changed a few years ago. The only problem is if you're relying on them for a U-Turn across traffic at night, you can't judge distance and need to wind the window down and look out. Otherwise they provide a commanding view of the road around you. They gave the SIII Hartop better all round visibility than a sedan.

As for cars behind. On the hwy if they want to sit that close behind its their lookout if they run up the back on sudden braking. I personally don't find vision from the Defender all that bad...our EA Falcon was shocking in my opinion. All cars have blindspots don't they?

except my 90! especially with the blind spot mirrors! i use the larger ones and can see the whole side of the car, its great!
my only prob is the bloody huge spare on the back door blocks whole camrys

but as you said NM if they get that close too bad
