    Council Amalgamation

    well they announced it, we will go from 1100 people spread over 4000sqkm to 10000 over 20000sqkms, somehow I cant see this working???

    It works fine if you have good management

    Well they have been talking about this in Sydney too, they want to make a super council, incorperating Hurstville Kogarah Rockdale and Sutherland

    Only one problem three councils don't want Hurstville to be part of it, Kogarah has an anti Hurstville committy

    I reckon it would be fun for the Federal government to put the broom through the state government ... there would be heaps of squealing then and I reckon they would save heaps more.
