Hello all. I'm new to this and Landys and 4wd. I just not long bought mine its a 97 V8i manual which I just convert to gas. So far I have been on Stockton beach with her but I'm not real experienced. I tried her out in the bush too but I'm a bit scared to go through bog holes as I don't have any recovery equipment yet. Anyway cheers all.

Pretty new around here myself too, but they are a friendly bunch and this is the best Landrover forum there is.
Nice looking Disco, hope you enjoy it!

Welcome, stevejo43. You'll be amazed at whan can be achieved in these vehicles - when you see so many on the highways you might think they're just like other cars

Best 4x4 and best 4x4 forum.... What more could you want! (OK another bag of kitty litter because the disco's made a mess on the drive again!)
Hi there. Presume you've got a Disco (1997 + V8 + Manual can't be anything else can it?).
They are a great vehicle off road. Get a small amount of recovery gear & go out with another vehicle. Then you can do stupid things and still get back home again.
Welcome to the forum
David
Hi guys, thanks for the warm welcome. Will surely be getting some gear for the disco soon and looking forward to getting out there and discover some new places I havent yet seen. I have a winch bar on front so will be looking into that soon and a gps. oh and for the meantime a snatch rope and small shovel. hehehe
