    Whats the "P" for on the side of the numberplate?

    Probationary Licence Holder. From July 2008 in Victoria, white P on red background is for the first year of driving then you change to a green P on white background for a further 3 years of driving.

    Would think NSW would be similar. Green P for latter period of probationary licence period.

    not been offroad yet so i suppose will find out soon enough my guess is probably yes will have to phil recons they may be alright will have to see
