I had ST's on the ZG, and anyone that has read any of my threads about them when I had it would know I was far from happy with them.

Chunks breaking off on sandy gravel roads, really noisey and had about 3 punctures in 8 months.

They wore very quickly, fronts more due to poor wheel alighnment and one tyre place tried to tell me the wheel alighnment was out on the rear of the Jeep, yeah right Live axel built by Dana and mega strong.

It was only used on the road, never had it off road more than a couple of sandy gravel roads for a few K's each and they broke lugs off.

They were the worst tyres I have ever owned though in saying that I have only heard good things about STT's so I dont think it is Coopers them selves, just what model tyre you get.

Ron, I will have to check, but I believe off-road means out of metro and Large regional areas. Why would you build an off-road tyre and then only guarantee the mileage if there not used off-road, turned me right off.
I got a set of NanKang Mudstar 33x12.5x15 for $175 each, fitted and balanced, I have flogged them on the sharp rock trails in the high country behind where I live, I have done about 10000k's so far they dont seem to have worn at all and not a chip or tear anywhere, Regards Frank.
