Hi guys,
I have posted this in the upcoming events but thought I might get more interest here.
For those of us that live in old sydney town, thanks to visits to our city by lots of important peoples, the govt has decreed the 7th september a public holiday.

So I am itching to get out of sydney and go for a drive and build a really big fire if safe to do so and camp and have fun.
This will of course be open to everyone and for those new south welshman's not lucky enough to be granted a public holiday can join us friday night or saturday morning.

I had thought of heading up to mount seaview but really am not fussy. Given its early september it will still be coolish but a fire will fix that.
So who is interested and where do you want to go.
Grade would be moderate depending on weather.
From all reports lots of other sydney siders will be doing the same thing so maybe we should choose somewhere not so popular?? Anyone got a property we can stay on perhaps??
