    Do you know this Rangie?

Having reared my ugly head after a long spell, I am wondering if any our more 'retentive' members can recall the following.
A Maroon '86-'89 Range Rover, Rego AOJ 14B.
    Do you know this vehicle?
Do you have any details of the owner of this vehicle?
It appears abandoned, and I'm just wondering.....

Bloody heck, Damien - you found it!

I wondered where I'd left it.

I haven't had a close look at it yet, just keep seeing from the truck as I go by.

It's only been there about 6 weeks. I want to get to it before the vandals. I spoke with the RTA and if the council does the checks and is willing to let me remove it, the council gives me a letter to that effect and i can register it with a blue slip.

    Good luck with the council.
Everytime I've checked with the councils around my area (and Parramatta) they say that I can't touch the car. They have a contract with the big wrecking yard at Blacktown (Pick & Payless) who get to pick all the abandoned cars up.
Once they're picked up, I am allowed to buy the car from the wrecking yard .

Needless to say, I don't ask anymore.

That's what my fear is. This lot would probably put it to auction and I could go bid for it. But, you never know until you try.
