Rightio
Ive got the tune for a song running round in my head its from the late 70's i think and the video clip had a marching band doing laps of a stadium. The whole video was filmed in this open air stadium. I think one of the chorus lines is 'just tell me that you love me'.
Can some one give me a name for the song and artist. Its driving me crazy.
Google the Lines you Know. Might give you an Idea
Regards
It sort of sounds a bit Pink Floydy ?? It looked American because of the marching band. Very grid iron style I think they were wearing red tops and white bottoms, big tubas etc. The tune was sort of
da da da, da da da, da da daaa, daaaa, daaa, daaa.
How twisted is my mind that i can visualise the clip but not remember the song!!! I've googled the hell out of it with no joy.
Listen to this and see if it is the tune: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qboQ-q4SNQM

Thanks Ron but no joy. Thats the one google keeps throwing at me. I hear this song about once a month on MMM but I only ever hear the end of it and of course they never say who the artist was. Its got that late seventies rock sort of sound. I think theres more than one person singing aswell.
Fleetwood Mac ???
130's rule
The second Google attempt came up with Fleetwood Mac's "Tusk"
Why don't you ask him if he's going to stay?
Why don't you ask him if he's going away?
Why don't you tell me what's going on?
Why don't you tell me who's on the phone?
Why don't you ask him what's going on?
Why don't you ask him who's the latest on his throne?
Don't say that you love me!
Just tell me that you want me!
Tusk! Tusk! Tusk! Tusk!
Tusk! Tusk! Tusk! Tusk!
Tusk! Tusk! Tusk! Tusk!
Tusk! Tusk! Tusk! Tusk!
Tusk!
Why?
This quote about the song "
I love it!! When rock musicians put horn arrangements in their songs, it makes them so much more awesome. And yes, the live performance with the USC marching was kick ass!!! "

(Late edit: My wife just came in and complained about me playing the Tusk video!)
