I don’t mean these vehicles are no good, quite the reverse, they are good value for money but there not a vehicle one plans on keeping for a long period of time.
The RR on the other hand has proven to be as unreliable as any LR can be, but if you can put up with fixing the odd problem, it will probably last forever.
My wife’s D3 is proving to be one of the most reliable vehicles we have had while my 03 RR is with out any stretch of the imagination, the most unreliable vehicle I have ever owned ( and I’ve had some bombs ) but I bet 10 years from now it will still be going strong.
I still have every intention of buying a new TDV8 RR in the not too distant future but as my 03 is not likely to fetch much as a trade in, ( it’s done 170,000 kms ) I’ll keep it for most of my off roading and as a work horse.
