    Life's strange

    Well, a week ago I posted a thank you for assistance with my decision between a Disco and Patrol.

    A week ago I was about to sign up for a 4.2TD Patrol.

    A week ago there were were two of us - now there's one of me.

    The Patrol is now a) too dear; and b) too big (one swag takes up a lot less room than two).

    Consequently I have put a deposit down on an '01 TD5 Disco with 160kms.

    It has ARB bar, side steps (I'd like to cut down to rock-rails, it's the Jeeper in me!), s/s intercooler, chip, dual batteries, snorkel and on-board compressor. Here's hoping.

    Hope to pick it up next weekend and see some of you guys out there somewhere. I think I need some bush-time...
