just watched it, it was cracking thanks for posting it.
pretty good pr on the part of landrover and got themselves an order of 500 cars pity they didn't operate like this anymore.
and how come it would go up that hill in reverse and not 1st? - might have to try that next time i'm stuck![]()
Great video.
Interstingly Landrover gave them SWB stationwagons rather than standard swb's with canopies. Any ideas why?
Also can someone tell me the difference between a standard swb and a swb station wagon - I know about the different canopy and the the 4 individual sideways seats in the back in the station wagon and the rear door - but are there any other differences?
Cheers
Garry

Thanks a lot for that! I've read about it, years before the Internet came along, so it's great to see it, while at work, too. That somehow just made it better . . .![]()
Thanks! - just got time to watch it!
Great video![]()
Check out the 'red Land Rover' at the 9 minute 25 second mark.
I'm sure it's a Series 2.
Wasn't the Series 2 released in 1958.
This film was made in 1955.
OMG.![]()
I very much enjoyed that, glad to be a Rover owner with such proud heritage from the builders to the gutsy users and owners of this fine marque.
