    Gold Coast locals...

    Hi all,

I'm over at Surfer's Paradise for a few days at a conference. Just wondering if anyone can recommend any 4x4 or gun shops I should be checking out while here?

Also, I've got a couple of evenings free now (Tonight and tomorrow) so if anyone is reasonably local and fancies meeting for a beer, that's good too!

There is a Gun shop located at Dominions Road Ashmore off Corporation RD.
There are two firing ranges on the coast you can visit and let off a few rounds.
1st Located off Bundall road Bundall and the second is located off Edmond Rice Drive Southport (Gold Coast Pistol Club).
I know the Bundall one you can use there guns but the Southport one you need your own.

There is an all day AULRO / GCLRO run on Sunday see Thread in upcoming events. If you have the day free and have the forby with you it would be a good way to see some of the hinterland around the coast and NSW border.

Thanks. No guns with me, and no 4x4 as I flew in, plus I'm leaving Friday afternoon, otherwise that would have been good!

Will try and check out the shops though....

Also a gun section in Sporty's Warehouse off Ashmore road, might have to do a search for it but it's a big shop...

Saw that ad in the paper this morning - will see how far the SatNav says it is at lunchtime! Thx.
