That depends - if I had my big rifle with me, I'd be thinking "free dinner" :D

Harry, My idea of a leg pull, it was Frederich Valantech, not Rudolph :)
Here is a link to what was "supposed" to happen.

The mate I quoted was a member at Moorabbin Aero Club, he said Valentich actually asked him to come for the ride, but my mate declined, he said he wondered why he was asked when Frederich knew he couldnt, due to other committments, which he says Frederich knew about. He now thinks it was to cover the fact he (Valentich) was doing a run to shuttle an Ansett crew from King Island to Hobart Casino (big no no) when he was supposed to be picking up a load of Crays.
From memory he did not have the endorsement to carry passengers either.
I remember my grandmother telling me about one time around 1920 (?) when she was living on a farm in central Victoria. She was in the living room when what she claims is "ball lightning" floated through the window. Was about the size of a basketball.
She was holding a pair of scissors at the time and got rid of them quick smart as they were metal. She ran out of the room. When looking back the ball was gone.
In the two years I spent working in the SImpson in the sixties I saw mim min lights on several occasions. On at least one of these the lights were positively identified as being due to abnormal refraction of the lights from a drilling rig over fifty miles away and well below the horizon.
