    Exclamation OT, place to service boat motor in SE Melb ?

    Can anyone recommend a place where I can get my Yamaha 25hp outboard motor serviced in South-East Melb ?

    I've used Golden seal marine at Braeside (I think thats where they are.
    Quality work, not a bargain though.

    thanks, it hasn't been serviced in a few years, no idea what they do to service a 2 stroke motor though !

    It would be something I would do myself, drain the oil out of the gearbox, maybe strip down the lower half to check for gunked up/ rusted components, maybe replace the plug, check filters, spark etc.
    They are just a fancy lawnmower really.
    But maybe every 6-7 years get it looked at by the experts. Its not like you can walk home if it stuffs up.
