Thread: Back Home Again from Melbourne

Got back home this afternoon after my trip to Yass and Melbourne. Total of about 2200km, of which about 900 was toowing a trailer. Average fuel consumption approximately 11.02l/100km. The only problem was that on two occasions I accidentally ran a tank dry and had to prime the fuel system - the second occasion was stuck on the tram tracks in Flemington Rd in Melbourne, fortunately on Sunday morning.

Not too bad for a twenty-one year old vehicle coming up towards half a million kilometres.

In Canberra I acquired (thank you!) a trayback off a 109 from xx_LRV8_xx which sat on top of the trailer on the way home.
