Springs have been changed from Dobinson to Lovells due to the lovells being alot cheaper and yes your reading correct

Shocks have also been changed from bilstein to OME now Pro comp, Why I hear you ask, only because I have more option with the Pro comp as far as travel and again considerably cheaper

since Im saving so much cash with the above options rather then modifying the bump stops Im going to buy some at the moment the only place I can track them down from is Equip so more research is required

I have sorced extended break lines and ABS from Slick Rock fabrications at a hefty price

Ive also ordered a pair of Firestone Air Suspension for the rear and a heavy duty compressor and tank to do both the suspension and the tyres

that leave me with needing the front ACE sway bar links so that they can be used on the rear and to modify the chassis support member

wha whoooooooooooo next is to fit it all

gee! glad i put in the effort to answer your questions and sort out heights and rates for you! all in my own time!
dont bother asking me anything else

    Not bad.
It wanders a little bit due to the loss of castor from 4" of lift, though I've never worried enough to do anything about it. It was initially very twitchy in the middle of the corners, though the ACE sway bar modifications sorted that out.
    Cheers

Baz, you should be able to buy a bush that goes straight in bringing the hole down to 16mm rather than whatever the Patrol normall runs (20mm???). I would also assume that the other manufacturers like ARB/OME or suspension specialists like Wholesale Suspension in Penrith will have aftermarket barpins which they use in their shocks. I'm pretty sure the barpin setup isn't unique to the D2.

You just die grind a bit away from the axle mount where the passengers side linkage will touch. Its only a small amount that you need to remove with 10" travel shocks.

Sounds like it is going to be a beast, so you still using the SLS i see, are you going to raise the airbag mounts at all? you can raise them 2in without extending bump stops that way the spring rate is not so high at a 2in raised position, i have mine raised 2in with nearly 3in lift, i have a 4x4DE SLS lift kit then worked out some longer extensions for the sensors then those that came in the kit. Mine rides good with the current lift and still handles like a car.
