thats what i did dobbo! i didnt just randomly pick what looked good, the spring rates would have suited the shocks selected.

Theres a reason the Dobinsons cost more...

Its their process when they make them...

They dont double scrag, they triple scrag them and then stress relieve the coils...

This adds cost to the process and therefore makes the coils more expensive...

Everyone expresses unhappiness with things like the King range etc... and praises Lovells...
Yet in my experience the Lovells coils I had were the worst pieces of steel ever!!!
Settled, collapsed, resonated (thats an interesting experience I tell you) and were generally rubbish...

Dobinsons on the other hand have a proven record for making steel last!

Phil the job was yours if you had requested $500 I didn’t care it was your attitude that got me

You know what I woke up one morning and thought what shall I do today, lets waste Sir Phil’s time

You your self suggested on PM lovell and Dobinson where the same however you couldn’t justify the price of lovells well I got Lovells for $150 cheaper then what you quoted Dobinson is that a bad thing you could have made $150 more in labour

Every one I know is a mechanic mate however I choose you with recommendation

Believe me money is no object

I wasn’t out to waste your time like I said the Job was your either way

If I didn’t thank you personally and you felt you copped it from behind sorry it wasn’t my intensions and besides ive thanked you and slunnie publicly what more do you want

yep i went right out of my way to rip you off..

this point i didnt make clear in my pm, sorry! that price was to fit and f%ck with the LOT! that was fit springs and shocks, remove your x member and mod it, and return it to you when it was done, do the watts link, make and fit longer brackets for the abs and the brake lines, IN DOING THIS IT WOULD HAVE SAVED YOU ALOT OF MONEY! fairly sure extended abs lines are quite expensive.
anyway, **** your winging about 50 bucks! this from the guy that wanted me to find out about OME LTR shocks for him?? your words not mine.

what most annoyed me was not one pm from you to thank me for the info and time i spent nutting this out for you. you just take what was given and hand it over, easy to make someone look good when theyve done nothing.

    no cheers phil

yep i agree with you rovernite

i saw your pm and said phil never made him self very clear, but also maybe you should take some of your own advice as well and maybe you should of pm'd him and questioned it rather than saying what you said

as for none of my business yes maybe not!! but my friends are my business

and in answer to the hole free thing quote taken out of context i was using it as an example not suggesting you were asking for anything free

i dont know where you are getting your springs from but both the above companys WONT make customs( thats rates and heights that they dont stock) for the price that you quote. fact!
so i deduct that the springs you are using are off the shelf, hence the price differance. I WASNT QUOTING ON OFF THE SHELF SPRINGS!

dam straight! theres a pile of work for people i have to do, and somewhere in there i have to find time to do my stuff

    cheers phil

mate serioulsy i never said you were asking for anything for FREE i used it as an example!!! when asking why cant people make profit??

look this is getting silly i was standing by a mate as i'm sure you would do!!! i dont give a t*ss what shocks you fit or how much they cost or how much they save you or whether they are pink< mind you pink would be a bit poofish

i dont have a problem with anyone on this site and i dont intend on having one
