Oh darling, we females would never divulge our real hopes for presents for another of our own gender .

I have an aquarium with swordtails. One of the females changed into a male just so he could now fight with the other male and win .

    Thanks to everybody for trying to help me out, just a few other things;

    Marie has hundreds of DVD's,

She takes her 13yr nease (spelling) horse riding but really doesnt like it to much (she has a boney bum)

She works every 2nd weekend and shift work, but may be layed off any day now......

We have a fluffy gray cat (Misty) and a German Shepared (Lucy)

Maybe something to help with my spelling might good too, god I hate nightshift

The best present I could give her would be a baby.....She would be the greatest mum, But after 13 IVF try's any advice would be great thanks.....

I was planning to take her away to halls Gap in the Grampians within the next 2 months, (and anybody else who would like to come up for a look) as we both Love it up there, but Marie is the kind of person that she doesnt need to have the best of everthing all the time ie down to earth, she is happy no matter where she is or who she is with.......So I think I may have left it a bit late for this weekend away......Great ideas though.

I have taken her away to a nice B&B a few years ago when we were going through a rough patch, mainly for "get away" after another failed IVF try, might go again, but defure it a couple of weeks......

But Iam taking her out for tea saturday night to a new place in town....so thats a start I guess.

I had a good talk to her yesterday about it and she just plain doesnt know what she wants either, so I had better pull my finger out and think fast.

If money wasent a problem I would take her back home to England so she can spend time with some family still there before they pass on. But the down side would be that I would need much bigger suitcase's to bring back all the stuff you people want/need.....

Oh Oh just had a thought .....how about I put new canvas on the camper trailer for her b/day??

Wow, you do have a big problem trying to buy something for someone who seems to have most goodies.

Oh well, a hug and a box of chockies might be the only solution .

Then again, go for new canvas on the camper trailer .

I hope you get the big wish some day, a bub, that's priceless!

The three grommets and myself invested in an iPod for the missus. Best investment we ever made, given her taste in music is not ours

Initially, it was not appreciated but over the past few months, it is worn regularly

Oh I should have also said we Live out in the sticks, a 4hr drive to Melbourne.

Marie has type 1 diabetes, so chocolate's is a good idea but sugar free chocolate's are crap

I bought two drums of oil for both our cars ie 2x20L drums......would that do?? Of course i would wrap them up first.....

I do remember marie looking at one of those small hand held back massarge thingos at Harvey Norman the other day.....it looks liks a car because it has four leg things that light up and vibrate..... Sorry not going there you sicko's .

We dont need anymore white goods, everything has been replaced in the last few years.

We need a new shed, but thats pushing my luck.....

I can see whats going to happen, I will take Marie down to the shops on Monday (Her Birthday) and just stay there until she/we find something.......please keep the ideas coming people thanks.

Oh and for those who said sky diving and the like......I would Love that but Marie isnt so keen, (read, you must be joking, are you mad etc etc !)

Ive been through all the junk mail, but no luck there either......I dont to get her something that will just sit in the cubard, ie a elec wine cooler etc....
