If you are talking Dakar et al, NONE.

They are a specialised car that bear a resemblance to the Pajero nose and that's it.

    pajero overheating

    hi guys,
had to think of this thread yesterday:
a friend of us wanted to learn sand driving, so I took him to stockton beach in his pajero. v6 petrol, big footprint and automatic, so basically all the advantages on our side. however, we only made one little ascent when we smelled something ... when I opened the bonnet I was hit by a heat wave. however, the temp gauge did not indicate anything unusual and by looking at the engine could not figure out what is wrong.
so, we let the engine cool down and went fishing instead of 4WD. my friend told me that it has happened once before when he was climbing a steep hill on the road.
when we arrived back home I opened the bonnet again but the temperature was ok this time and there was no smell at all - after a 2h run on the motorway.
so, at this stage I don't know what to think: maybe old transmission fluid (the car was recently serviced though), maybe flawed thermostat. what do you think?

have a nice weekend, cheers, axel

    Hi!

In Spanish "Pajero" is just that ... a name, a word; it isn't a meaning. Here in South America, it's just a reference of Mitsibishi ...

I'm learning your language ... sorry if i have got a bad english ...

Hello k1000o, I did not know there were members over there in Colombia.

I like the photo of your Land Rover on your profile.

It looks like nice land where you live.
