One for the boys, Sorry Guys for the View Obstruction :D
Ray I wasnt having a dig a such, just pointing out that:
a. rims are load rated and can be a problem
b. I knew as did anyone else that read your thread about the said rims on your 130 that you had had trouble with them.
c. The glass houses comment was coming from the fact that you were trying to push my buttons with you comments re bigjohns post.
Does that put it all together for you, I think your reading a bit much into it all Ray.
I only get a bit pieved when Ive been miss quoted and/or my posts have been quoted and edited to mean something that wasnt supposed to.
Ive seen enough cracked alloys (as stated in many threads) to last me a life time, Ive seen 1 on a Volvo that the spoke was just about to fall out and she used the car to pick her kids up.
Scares the crap out of me, thats why Im just a little passionate about keeping vehicals safe, I havnt prooven that they are not safe but I have pointed out some RWC and ADR problems involved in bolting these rims on so proove it's safe and I have no problem.
I dont really care what it looks like that much, I do think they look stupid but thats not what worries me, I think Ive said that enough now for everyone to get my drift.
:D:DBy the way, thats the new Mrs Mcrover in front of her Humvee, the old one drove away in her 100 series lol :D:D:D:wasntme::wasntme::wasntme:
Just for all those amused atm, im trying to purchase a morris Commercial 1947 single cab, which will be most likely be put on a rover chassis with a v8 and YEP, MASSIVE wheels. Oh, and lowered.
Perhaps even a toymota chassis if its cheap. ...
