if you want the same size on 16" rims then 265/70/16's are basically the same size and fit without a lift or guard cutting.
Reason why I don't want to lift it just yet is to trial it out & also Vic roads will be looking over it for re-rego. :cool:
I used to run 265's on disco rims on 81 rangie and never had a problem, are you using alloys or rangie steel rims ? Tyre size shouldnt be a problem unless they are huge , i had 235/85/16's on when my 85 rangie passed a rwc.Quote:

well - ended up getting 265/75/16's fitted - Maxxis Buck shots, they had to adjust the stopper & they come close - but are ok, picking it up Saturday so I'll see then as well lol Thanks for the info guys.
