From the pic they were running the right way, you can easilly tell buy the tread on the tread shot as it looks like the RHR from the back, If im wrong then it is on the wrong way but from the side I cant tell.
31's have the carcass showing both sides, 32's have both side moulded with MONGREL and 33's had one side only with both left and right sided tyre's, something to do with not being able to mould over the white raised lettering, mind you its been 4 years since I had anything to do with them

the tyre bloke didnt say anything about left n right.
They are as has been pointed out directional and need to face the correct way.
I just assume the tyre shop know what they are doing as when they fit the tyre to the rim they can only really go on one side because they are diretional.

the mongrel logo is only about 15mm high, maybe different for 15" tyres?

One side has the mongrel text on the inside and one side has it on the outside.

bloody horrible tyres on road, my mate has them on his rangie ute,, anything over 70kph and you start getting some serious speed wobbles!!! they are the 33x12.5x15 on his, we thought it was the lift or rims until he swapped them over with some 35x12.5 Maxxis creepy crawlers on the same rims, it completly transformed the car on road and they are full competition bias ply tyres! The mongrels seemed to go well in the mud, but didnt have much grip on the rocks.
