    Can anyone explain how this illusion works?

    Completely non LR, but have been scratching my head trying to work out how this magician can do this trick with a real person!!!

    i think he actually cuts the guy in half with a hot saw which cauterises the wound so no bleeding, and via prior attempts has worked out how long the body will live after being divided.All he does then is advertise for a new assistant each show as we all know the Yanks will do anything to get on tv.
