Great collection of cars, tho'...
Apparently Roy Orbison collected cars, and had a shed full of gear, none of which were spectacular.
He just liked to buy ordinary new cars, then when it was a few weeks old he'd get another - station wagons were his favourites, as they could carry a few buddies and some fishing gear etc...
Not such a myth as several (of the buddies) commented about his lack of taste in buying cars...
even in Roys later years Jeff Lynne (ELO) remarked about Roys penchant for the urbane...
Like: Roy could have a Roller or a Caddy, but buys Chevs.....
